Time Stretching and Timing Corrections

Audio timing corrections, such as a bass note that falls slightly ahead or behind the beat, can be handled similarly to copying and pasting parts and pitch correction. This first step again is locating the notes or beats that are out of time.

Working with details, such as locating a note or word that needs to be isolated, can be much easier if you know how to use your zoom controls. Cubase has many different ways you can change your view. If you haven’t familiarized yourself with these methods by this point, I highly recommend that you get more information on using the zoom controls in Cubase. Using these tools will greatly increase the speed and flow of your work.
