When Other People Lose the Plot

It’s 4:30 p.m. Paul gets an email from Eric, the supplier collaborating with him on the school project. Eric has written to say that the project is behind schedule and the school principal is upset. Paul goes to write an email back and then decides to call instead, remembering the lesson he learned from earlier today with Ned.

Eric is defensive the moment he answers the phone. It’s only his second project with Paul, and he wants to look good. He explains that the project is over budget, four weeks over deadline, and still not finished, but it’s all because of annoying changes the client keeps making.
