Jack may want to take the long view and find his best solution by communicating freely and openly with his family, especially his wife. There is the strong possibility that Jack can slowly build a mutually rewarding relationship with Yoshio. For example, Yoshio could reward Jack by giving him more responsibility and authority, while Jack could reward Yoshio by helping him improve his communication skills. With this exchange, Jack might eventually earn a promotion or an even better job in the same organization.... All of this without removing his family from their present comfort zone.
