Attitudinal Rejuvenation

Attitude renewal, at the first level, is often a daily process. For a few, moments of early-morning meditation are helpful. Others, who may get off to a bad start, call a friend in mid-morning for a “boost” and then start the day anew. Other forms of adjustment (regaining a positive focus) can take place at other points throughout a given day.

At a more serious level, attitude renewal can be a weekend project. You hear both employees and managers make statements such as:

“I need a strong dose of weekend rest and recreation to get my attitude ready for Monday morning.”

“Without the quiet time I enjoy during weekends, I would be a basket case Monday morning.”
