Acceptance in Your New Environment

You may be assigned to a department as a replacement for someone the others hated to lose. They will need time to get used to you. You may not have the experience of the person you replaced, and as a result, others may have to work harder for a few days to get you started. It is even possible that someone in your new department wanted another person to have your job, and, as a result, there may be some resentment toward you.
