When you accept a new work challenge, it is vital that all home demands be under complete control. Your on-the-job concentration needs to be at a high level, and any home worries, especially those connected with small children or other relatives, can be distracting to both you and your co-workers. Balancing home and career, so that you can be a winner in both areas, is never easy to accomplish and maintain. The time to start (or reorganize) is before you accept a new job or assignment.
