When I recall this scene, I remember the sound of the stream gurgling along at the foot of these towering pines, the scent of fresh pine in the air and the warm sun on my face. This is what I wanted to convey in my painting. To capture the excitement of the moment, we'll have to make some changes to the scene my camera recorded.
