Chapter 9. Sorting

The organizing of material into alphabetical or numerical order is a common requirement. For example, the index at the back of this book is sorted alphabetically. When the source material is not already in the correct order, XSLT is able to sort the data during the transformation process. Information can be sorted alphabetically, numerically, and repeatedly.
