Chapter 7. Expressions in attributes

The XSLT standard refers to a feature called 'attribute value templates', which is actually a method for using expressions within output element attributes. These expressions are used to generate context-specific values to insert into the attributes. Without this feature, it would often be necessary to use the Element and Attribute elements instead of directly including output elements in the template.
