Inside the P3P Harmonized Vocabulary

Although the P3P specification doesn't restrict privacy policies to a single vocabulary, the P3P harmonized vocabulary is currently the vocabulary of choice for authoring privacy policies. The harmonized vocabulary provides a base set of elements that can be used to express a wide range of privacy policies. The following are the core elements defined in the harmonized vocabulary:

  • PROP

  • ASSURANCE

  • REALM

  • VOC:DISCLOSURE

  • STATEMENT

  • DATA:REF
