WIDL Version 3.0

WIDL 2.0 defines a single language that specifies both interfaces and how interface specifications map to a Web site. WIDL 3.0 places the specification for the interface and the interface for document mapping in separate XML documents. This is the interface in current use by webMethods for their business-to-business middleware. Unfortunately, there is not a current public release of WIDL version 3.0, so it remains a purely proprietary specification.
