XSL is a powerful style sheet technology designed specifically for use with XML. Unlike CSS, which only supports the formatting of XML content, XSL also allows you to transform XML content from one vocabulary to another. It includes programmatic constructs that allow you to perform powerful operations on XML data, such as filtering, sorting, and searching. Even though XSL is still in the developmental stages, it has the makings of a technology that will all but guarantee a bright future for XML.
