CSS Style Properties
So far, you've seen some examples of CSS style sheets that used various style properties to establish formatting characteristics of HTML/XML content. Some of the properties are rather self-explanatory, and I haven't explained their usage. If you'll recall from the previous chapter, there are two different CSS specifications: CSS1 and CSS2. Although CSS2 adds significant functionality to CSS1, even CSS1 supplies a wide variety of style properties for formatting HTML and XML documents. Because CSS1 is the only CSS specification with browser support as of this writing, I want to stick with covering style properties that are defined within it.
