Producing this book turned out to be much harder than I expected. It's true, I was warned in advance that I was biting off more than I could chew, but such warnings never stopped me in the past. Let me tell you what was hard about the project.

It wasn't what people warned—that coordinating the efforts of many authors would be difficult. I chose some of the best authors in the world, and nobody let me down. I strongly believe that the results prove that. The difficulty was this: coordinating the manuscript with the rapidly changing technological landscape was a killer.
