Synopsis
The xs:byte
type represents an integer with a value between
-128 and 127. It is a subtype of the xs:short
type. Legal values include any
sequence of digits whose value is less than or equal to 127 and
greater than or equal to -128. An optional leading plus or minus
sign is allowed. For example, these are legal bytes:
