IN THIS CHAPTER

In previous chapters we have seen many different ways to format and manipulate XML. We've seen the SAX and DOM APIs, XSL, Collections, and Servlets. But we haven't put XML to use in a real, practical, and not-just-educational sense, although Servlets and Collections provided a great starting point. In this chapter we will examine a real-life use of XML: persisting the state of JavaBeans and Enterprise JavaBeans.
