Rosa Meo was born in Torino, Italy, in 1966. She obtained her “Laurea” degree in ingegneria elettronica (electronic engineering) in July 1993 and her Ph.D. in ingegneria informatica e dei sistemi (computer science and systems engineering) in September 1997, both at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Since November 1999 she has been a researcher in the Department of Computer Science, Università degli Studi di Torino, where she works in the database and data mining research fields.
