Formatting languages

Some stylesheet languages (including XSLT) are really transformation languages that can be used to create output in a number of presentation formats, including the ones described below.

TEX

TEX is a very popular typesetting language (written by Donald E. Knuth):

						\par This paragraph has a \bf bold \rm word in it.
