Chapter 12. Composite documents (XInclude)

The proposed XInclude standard permits composite documents to be created from disparate XML fragments (or complete documents) in a simple but powerful manner. This chapter discusses the draft proposal of 16 May 2001. It relies upon the Namespaces standard (see Chapter 10) and XML Base (see the previous chapter).
