Chapter 6. Document modelling techniques
This chapter explores issues relating to the development of a model or template for XML documents, including document analysis, future-use analysis and general model design.
Most of the concepts covered are applicable to both DTD and XML Schema modelling (though Chapter 14 and Chapter 15 should be read first by those only interested in schemas). When the term 'DTD' is used in place of 'model', this indicates that the concept is not applicable to XML Schema.
