Chapter 2. Elementary XML

XML elements divide data into meaningful components, and lie at the heart of the standard. The remaining features of the standard take supporting roles, along with some peripheral standards, and focus on the refining, annotating, storing, controlling, mixing, linking, processing and formatting of these components.
