Converting a File from the Command Line
In Chapters 1 and 2, we built placeholder pages to live on our site until we were ready with real content. Now it's time to build that content.
When people come to the ChaseWeb Furniture site, the first thing they will see is the home page. That home page will contain various links, including company information, phone numbers and addresses, and so on. All that information will be plain XHTML pages such as those we built in previous chapters. If you're looking for something more ornate, you can also build your page with any Web page editor such as Macromedia Dreamweaver or Microsoft FrontPage. (Or, if you prefer, you can always build it by hand, as we have done so far.)
