Submitting your app to the App Store

You've developed your app, tested it, and gotten a paid Apple Developer Account. You are now ready to put your app on sale on the App Store. Here's a general guide to getting your app on the store.

Note

The instructions are for iOS applications, including tvOS and watchOS.

You need to generate an iOS Deployment Certificate in order to submit your apps to the App Store. This can be done in the same area where you generated your iOS Development Certificate earlier in the chapter—in the Account details of the Xcode's Properties menu.

Note

The deployment certificate officially associates your app bundle with your developer account. This is to verify that your app came from you and that no one has tampered with it.
