Summary

In this chapter, we've learnt how Xamarin.Forms manages the platform-specific elements from the core platform agnostic library. We've built our own renderer to provide a circular image to Android and iOS. We've also explored how to link a third-party app to our solution.

With CustomRenderers we can easily develop components shown specifically in each platform.

In the next chapter, we'll learn about image processing in the Xamarin.Forms world with an example project. We'll start with creating the project and developing the entire application.
