Managing BPEL processes and human tasks in runtime

In addition to starting the BPEL processes and claiming human tasks from the Business Process Choreographer Explorer, the WebSphere Process Server also provides an API through which we can manage business processes and human tasks programmatically in runtime. The APIs are exposed through four different technologies:

  • EJB interface, available for processes and human tasks
  • Web service interface, available for processes and human tasks
  • JMS interface, available for processes only
  • REST interface, available for processes and human tasks
