Use of Systems and Network

Now that the user can log in, the next thing he or she needs to know is what can and cannot be done on the network. In this section you reiterate many areas of the policy that cover daily use. These are the rules of general conduct as outlined by the policies. Some of the provisions you can include are

  • Systems and network are to be used for business purposes only. Incidental personal use is permitted as long as it is not more than a trivial amount of time and does not interfere with your tasks.

  • The organization’s connectivity to the Internet is to be treated as a business resource. The same usage rules apply as above.

  • Users must not use the systems, network, or Internet connection to play games.
