About the Authors

Neil Cobb, APMP Fellow, is the former executive director of the AT&T Proposal and Knowledge Management Center and currently a lecturer in the Department of Technical Communication at the University of North Texas. He has more than 25 years of experience in proposal development and leadership, content management and repurposing, and marketing communication. Neil holds six U.S. patents for his content authoring and repurposing methods and systems.

Charlie Divine, CPP Fellow APMP, is the director of certification for the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP). He has been closely associated with APMP since 1995. He has been a leader in APMP’s best practice research programs to identify the best practices and competencies that lead to successful outcomes for both individuals and organizations. Charlie is certified at APMP’s highest level (Professional), and has been honored as a fellow in the organization. Prior to retirement, he worked for SBC Communications (now AT&T), leading its proposal organizations and working closely with Neil.
