Developing a case study on someone who is devoting his or her life to realizing a dream is an intimate process, and I am fortunate that so many people opened themselves to me, divulging their secrets and exposing their vulnerabilities, doubts, and aspirations. In some instances I got to know their families. I made some fast friends in the process, and to all I owe a deep debt.
