Entrepreneurs Must Be Young

The G20 has an affiliate called the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance “to convene each year in advance of the G20 Summit, with the aim of championing the importance of young entrepreneurs to the G20 member nations.”1 In the United States, there is an organization called the Youth Entrepreneurship Council, whose mission it is to “promote entrepreneurship as a means to overcome youth unemployment and underemployment,” and it advocates the Youth Entrepreneurship Act.2 Beyond the United States, youth entrepreneurship programs in the Middle East and Latin America are commonplace.
