Configuring User Settings

By default, standard users are allowed access to shared folders and links to SBS-related websites. You can define other settings for any additional folders and computers that a user is allowed to access.

Adding Shared Folders

To change the folders that a user can see, follow these steps:

  1. Open the SBS 2011 Essentials Dashboard. Select Server Folders And Hard Drives.

  2. Click Add A Folder to open the dialog box shown in Figure 14-6.

  3. Provide a name for the folder and it will be created at the location shown.

  4. Add a description if you want, and click Next.
