As previously stated, setting up a multi-company system is complex. While the system will work in much the same way as it did previously, it is important that you understand how a multi-company system impacts every operation within the system. Customers, users, suppliers, and the chart of accounts all tie into multiple company operations. This chapter has provided the very basics of how to configure a multi-company setup, but final configurations will take a great deal of planning and fine-tuning if you want a truly successful installation.
