Listening with HootSuite: Reading Tweets

Imagine you are at a crowded party where people are clustered into various conversation groups. You could drift through the crowd, drink in hand, listening for a few words that suggest what each conversation is about. Depending on your interests, you might wander past the golf enthusiasts, pass on the intense discussion of health-care policy, but pause to listen to and perhaps join the conversation about one of your favorite novels. You’d hear some interesting thoughts and maybe meet a few new people.
