Conclusion: It’s Time to Fly Out of the Nest
We’ve covered a whole lot in this book. I know it can seem a bit overwhelming, and possibly a bit scary. In all honesty, I hope I did scare you a bit. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve warned clients, friends, and even family members about the mistakes they were making. Then later these mistakes have led to a successful attack, and usually have ended with me de-hacking the website.
If fear is the only way to make a point in this case, then so be it. I really hope you have learned a lot and take this all to heart. However, if I can implore you to do only two things, they would be 1) use ridiculously strong passwords, and 2) back everything up.
