Summary
In this chapter we learned to manage our WordPress installation through backups, site performance, security, and updates. By using an automated backup tool, we can ensure that our database is regularly backed up. Caching and minifying plugins improve site performance. Security plugins will scan and enhance the security of WordPress. Most importantly, keeping WordPress up-to-date will increase both the security and functionality of our site.
