Updating plugins
Plugin authors will frequently update their plugins to fix bugs, add compatibility for WordPress updates, or add additional features. When updates are available for a plugin a number will appear next to Plugins in the WordPress sidebar.
To update plugins:
- Visit the Updates page by hovering over Dashboard in the left sidebar and click on the Updates button.
- Click on the checkbox next to the plugin to be updated.
- Click on the Update Plugins button.
