wp_options

This stores all the built-in and custom settings for WordPress. This is another table similar to wp_postmeta and wp_usermeta, where key-value pairs are used for keeping data. Default options in this table include the site URL, site description, date format, and so on.

Developers can use this table to store settings for their themes or plugins. Usually, plugin or theme settings are stored as a single row in this table as a serialized value. However, you can store as many options based on your preference.
