What is conditional template design?

In site development, we may have to change the design and content in different sections in order to do the following:

  • Match user preferences: Many modern sites allow users to choose content preferences. Therefore, the user has various options, such as choosing which components are displayed on any given screen, filtering content from certain categories, and even the layout and color scheme.
  • Display only relevant content for a post/page: Usually, we have a sidebar filled with many widgets. In some scenarios, this content may not be directly related to the main content.
