Inserting Comments

Comments are useful when someone who is editing the document has questions pertaining to the document. Perhaps a particular passage needs to be clarified. Maybe the formatting of an item is inconsistent. In Word, you can insert a comment or respond to a comment as you review a document and provide feedback. When you insert a comment in Print Layout view, it displays a bubble icon (New!), opens a balloon or displays the Reviewing pane where you can enter a comment. Each comment includes the name and initials of the person who made the comment, which you can change in the Options dialog box or when you switch accounts under user accounts (New!).
