You can’t shoot if you aren’t there, and in much of the world the action happens in back alleys, markets, and out-of-the-way places at hours most travelers would prefer to be asleep. Getting up with the sun and getting out there will make your images stronger, both in terms of what you capture and the light in which you capture it.
