Aside from the relative psychological ease of shooting streets, there are plenty of good reasons to shoot the scenes playing out before you.

In much of the world, life and all its activity is played out before us on the streets. Cooking, eating, playing, working, worshipping, falling in love—all happen in a swirl of local color, and photographing this is often as close as you can come to capturing the genuine spirit of a place.
