Chapter 13. Wireless Video and Entertainment

Now that we have a well-functioning, secure wireless network, what do you do with it? Well, lots. You can of course use it to surf the Internet and read your e-mail from the back deck. But there is a lot more you can do.

One general category is wireless video and entertainment, including wireless video cameras, media gateways that can display pictures and send music to your TV entertainment system, online gaming, networking your digital video recorder (DVR), and wireless digital jukeboxes.

We cannot begin to cover all the things you can do with your wireless network here, but let’s take three pretty cool things to do and see how you would set up and use them:
