Traditional Diversity Versus Transglobal Diversity: The New Order and Debate

To be a successful global leader, you must be a “builder”—you must grow the business, you must build capabilities and build an organization that can solve its own problems. Truly embracing diversity is a key tenet of a “builder.” The command-and-control or do-it-yourself leader does not tend to build these capabilities. Building networks globally requires embracing diversity and tapping into all of the varied and diverse capabilities of the organization.
