Global leadership is so critically important. We cannot possibly compete effectively without it. However, today we can’t get enough good leaders who can function in complex, multicultural environments to get done what needs to get done. Just because individuals have had a global assignment does not mean they are global leaders. Global leaders have the special ability to make things simple and understandable for others and connect to people in subtle but very powerful ways.
