Start All Programs Accessories Communications NetMeeting

NetMeeting allows videoconferencing (videophone) and voice conferencing over a network or Internet connection. The connection is made via either a central directory service (Microsoft provides several), or directly to another user's IP address. To initiate a voice conference (audio only), you'll need an Internet connection and a sound card, speakers, and a microphone on each end. For video conferencing, you'll also need a videoconferencing camera and a high-speed connection.

To start a conference, type the recipient's email address or IP address into the text field at the top of the window, and press enter or click the little telephone button. If recipient is also running NetMeeting, it will "ring" when a call is received. Hang up any call by clicking the Hang Up button or by going to Call Hang Up.
