Phil Simpson (book design and layout) has been involved with computer graphics since 1977, when he worked with one of the first graphics-generating computers—an offspring of flight-simulation technology. Zacker (technical editor) began working with mainframe and personal computers in the mid-1980s, and has since been employed as a network administrator, programmer, and security consultant for mainframe systems and PC LANs.
