Identifying Yourself on a Local Network

The People Near Me listing service lets you control the way you’re identified on a local network and from whom you’ll accept invitations for meetings.

Make Your Settings

  1. Click the Start button, type people in the Search box, and click People Near Me to display the People Near Me dialog box. (If you’re already signed in to People Near Me, you can quickly open the People Near Me dialog box by double-clicking the People Near Me icon in the notification area of the taskbar.)
