Playing a DVD

When you play a DVD movie with Windows Media Player, whether it’s a commercial video or one you created yourself, you can view it in full screen and still have access to the play controls, or you can show it in the Media Player window, with access to even more controls.

Play the DVD

  1. Insert the DVD into your computer’s DVD drive. If the DVD doesn’t start, start Media Player from the Start menu, and, on the Library tab, click the DVD, and then double-click the disc to start it. If you’re not in Full Screen mode, press Alt+Enter.
