Managing Your Photos

The Windows Photo Gallery does an excellent job of managing your photos, but every so often you might want to do a bit of extra management—for example, renaming a series of photos or copying some photos to a Word document. You can go directly to the folder where the photo is stored and do whatever file management you want.

Rename Your Photos

1. In Windows Photo Gallery, click the photo to select it. If you want to rename a series of photos with the same name and then number them consecutively, select all the photos you want to rename.

2. Click the File button, and choose Rename from the drop-down menu.
