Summary

Windows Vista can automatically diagnose many common network problems. Other problems are more complicated and require you as an administrator to perform additional troubleshooting to isolate the source of the problem. When you have isolated the source of the problem, you may be able to fix the problem yourself. If the problem is related to a failed network circuit or another factor outside of your control, isolating the problem allows you to escalate the issue to the correct support team and allow the support team to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
