Using Remote Desktop

Remote Desktop is an extension of Terminal Services (TS) technology that provides users with the flexibility of working on their computers from anywhere, at any time. Remote Desktop has been enhanced and extended in Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 to provide robust remote access capabilities for users in enterprise environments. Using Remote Desktop, users can run applications on a remote computer running Windows Vista from any other client running a supported Windows operating system. Additionally, Remote Desktop can allow administrators to remotely manage both desktop computers and servers as if they were interactively logged on at the local console of these computers.
